Today’s Thoughts My pace of life has been a bit faster lately. I just received a call that brought about some emotional fluctuations.
Even with all the imposter syndrome, I still have a faint but lasting sense of pride in myself. Even if it’s luck, I got to this point on my own (not through connections or favors). I really did it. Thank you to everyone who supported and disliked me along this journey. Sigh, truly, thank you, I’m suddenly a bit speechless. This all feels like a dream. (Though if it were a dream, I wouldn’t have wasted 300 NTD on a 10:0 game in the second inning today.) (Go Taiwan team!)
Anyway, it’s interesting because the other party thoughtfully asked if I needed a housing subsidy, which made me realize how hassle-free (and cost-saving) living in a dorm actually is. The location is Banqiao, and that modern park has always been a place I yearned for. I never expected to have the opportunity to enter it in a different capacity.
What surprised me even more was the team I joined. I originally thought my tech stack would lead me to a backend or cloud-focused department, but in the end, I landed on a team I hadn’t considered, but that unexpectedly makes sense. I was a bit surprised at first, but after hearing the job description, everything became logical and extremely challenging.
Although I’m currently in a “cooling-off period” of 99% certainty (still waiting for the final document, after all), this expectation of truly putting technology into practice is enough for me to write this small record.
Calm down, stay calm. The remaining 1% is for my future self to fill.
